1. Purpose
TickHosting is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and security of its internal operations. Staff members may have access to internal communications, administrative discussions, operational procedures, and other information intended only for authorized personnel.
This policy establishes required confidentiality standards for TickHosting staff, regardless of position, responsibilities, or duration of service.
2. Confidential information
Confidential information includes, but is not limited to:
- Private staff channels, messages, conversations, and discussions.
- Internal management decisions, staff evaluations, and disciplinary proceedings.
- Internal documents, guidelines, operational procedures, and administrative communications.
- Unannounced projects, updates, changes, and future development plans.
- Internal disagreements, investigations, and sensitive organizational matters.
- Screenshots, recordings, transcripts, or copies of restricted staff communications.
- Other non-public information explicitly designated as confidential by authorized TickHosting management.
Staff must not disclose, distribute, publish, or otherwise reveal confidential information to unauthorized people without authorization from TickHosting management.
3. Continuing expectations
These confidentiality expectations continue during and after staff membership while the information remains confidential. Leaving the staff team does not authorize disclosure of information obtained through privileged staff access.
4. Internal enforcement
TickHosting maintains a zero-tolerance internal policy for intentional unauthorized disclosure of confidential staff information, following an appropriate review. Consequences may include:
- Permanent removal from the TickHosting Staff Team, where applicable.
- Permanent removal from TickHosting's official Discord communities.
- Exclusion from TickHosting-operated services and platforms where permitted by applicable rules and law.
- Immediate revocation of staff privileges and access permissions.
5. Protected disclosures and exceptions
This policy does not prevent reporting unlawful activity, abuse, harassment, or safety concerns to appropriate authorities; seeking support from parents, guardians, or trusted adults; making disclosures required or protected by law; discussing information already lawfully public; or reporting misconduct through legitimate channels. TickHosting will not take action solely for a legally protected disclosure.
6. Voluntary staff participation
TickHosting staff positions are voluntary community roles. This policy sets internal organizational standards and conditions for community participation. It does not create an independently enforceable legal contract or impose financial penalties.
7. Acknowledgement
By registering a staff account, you confirm that you have read and understand this internal policy, will protect confidential information received through staff access, understand that these expectations may continue after leaving the team, and understand that acknowledgement is required to participate as TickHosting staff.
