These rules outline the standards of conduct and responsibilities for all staff members.

1. 👔 Professional Conduct

  1. Staff must remain professional, respectful, and impartial at all times.
  2. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, threats, intimidation, or toxic behavior are prohibited.
  3. Staff must follow all server rules and act in the best interest of the community.
  4. Staff must not engage in conduct that damages the server's reputation.

2. ⚖️ Abuse of Authority

  1. Staff powers may only be used for legitimate staff duties.
  2. Staff must not use their position for personal gain.
  3. Staff must not threaten, retaliate against, or unfairly target users.
  4. Punishments must never be influenced by personal relationships or opinions.
  5. Misuse of permissions, bots, logs, or staff tools is prohibited.

3. 🛡️ Moderation Standards

  1. All moderation actions must be fair, justified, and consistent.
  2. Staff must review available evidence before taking major action.
  3. Staff must be able to justify any moderation decision.
  4. Punishments must match the severity of the violation.
  5. Major actions should be logged when required.

4. 🤫 Confidentiality

  1. Staff channels, reports, investigations, appeals, logs, and internal discussions are confidential.
  2. Staff must not leak, share, or distribute confidential information without authorization.
  3. Confidential information obtained through staff access may not be used for personal benefit.

5. 🔐 Permissions & Security

  1. Staff may only use permissions required for their role.
  2. Staff must not grant permissions, roles, or access without authorization.
  3. Staff are responsible for all actions performed through their account.
  4. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
  5. Staff must report suspected account compromises immediately.

6. ⚖️ Conflicts of Interest

  1. Staff must remain neutral when handling reports and disputes.
  2. Personal relationships must not influence moderation decisions.
  3. Significant conflicts of interest should be disclosed to management.

7. 🗣️ Communication

  1. Staff must communicate respectfully with users and staff.
  2. Public arguments between staff members are prohibited.
  3. Staff must maintain professional communication while performing staff duties.
  4. Excessive slang, misleading statements, speculation, or misinformation are prohibited.
  5. Staff must verify information whenever possible and seek clarification when uncertain.
  6. Support requests, reports, and staff inquiries must not be intentionally ignored.

8. 💬 Support & Direct Messages

  1. All support, troubleshooting, moderation, and service-related discussions must occur in official server channels or ticket systems.
  2. Staff must not move support conversations to Direct Messages without management approval.
  3. Staff must direct users to official support systems whenever possible.
  4. Staff must not use Direct Messages to bypass staff oversight, moderation procedures, or ticket systems.
  5. Unauthorized support through Direct Messages may result in disciplinary action.

9. 📈 Activity

  1. Staff are expected to remain reasonably active.
  2. Extended inactivity should be reported to management.
  3. Staff must stay informed about announcements, policies, and procedural changes.

10. ✨ Integrity

  1. Staff must be truthful during reports, investigations, and staff matters.
  2. Evidence may not be fabricated, altered, withheld, or misrepresented.
  3. False accusations against users or staff members are prohibited.
  4. Major concerns, abuse, or security issues must be reported to management.

11. 🚫 Favoritism

  1. Favoritism is prohibited.
  2. All users must be treated equally regardless of rank, status, donations, or personal relationships.
  3. Staff must not provide special treatment or ignore violations due to personal connections.

12. 🔗 Chain of Command

  1. Staff must respect the management structure and follow reasonable instructions from authorized senior staff.
  2. Staff must use proper escalation procedures and not bypass supervisors without cause.
  3. Staff may appeal decisions through appropriate channels but must continue complying until reviewed.
  4. Encouraging others to ignore management decisions is prohibited.
  5. Repeated refusal to follow the chain of command may be considered insubordination.

13. 📢 Official Statements

  1. Only authorized staff may make official announcements or represent server policy.
  2. Staff must not falsely represent policies, decisions, ranks, permissions, or authority.

14. ⚖️ Discipline

  1. Violations may result in warnings, suspension, demotion, or removal.
  2. Severe violations may result in immediate removal.
  3. Management reserves the right to determine disciplinary action.

15. 🛑 Zero-Tolerance Violations

  • Staff abuse or permission abuse.
  • Confidentiality breaches.
  • Evidence tampering.
  • Retaliatory moderation.
  • Corruption or favoritism.
  • Harassment, discrimination, or threats.
  • Account sharing.
  • Deliberate misinformation.
  • Unauthorized support through Direct Messages.
  • Serious breaches of trust.

16. 🧠 Final Rule

  1. Staff are expected to use common sense.
  2. Any action that harms the server, community, staff team, operations, reputation, or trust placed in staff may result in disciplinary action, even if not explicitly listed in these rules.
